An editor is a writer’s best friend, and no great piece of literature can aspire to greatness without editing.

Like a gardener prunes a plant to help it grow, writing cannot become great without some paring and fortifying. And a skilled editor writes and knows initmately how crucial getting details right is to the success of a story.

My services include the following:

1. Developmental Editing (as covered on the Fiction page)
2. Copy Editing

Dialing into the nitty gritty: grammar, syntax, word choice, other literary mechanics.

3. Proofreading

Final review of manuscript for mistakes after all revisions and edits are complete.

4. Formatting

Making your project look as pretty as the prose by diving into the details – chapter breaks, line spacing, and margins.

Completed manuscripts run $0.01½ per word; overall price is negotiable depending on desired services and complexity of work needed.
