Fiction is my life.

As a child, every story was an escape from my surroundings, a world of fantasy where the very magic I lacked dwelled within me and helped me find myself.

It’s kept my imagination alive, even as I lost hope in a dark world where heroes were revered and yet nowhere to be found.

And when I needed saving, it gave me a voice and allowed me to heal myself while channeling complicated grief and emotions into art.

Novel writing is my bread and butter, and I’ve never been able to distill ideas down into a short story. But having the appetite and drive for novels makes it totally worthwhile.

No two projects are alike, and each project has its own personality and is a different animal from the last. And my experiences navigating the self-publishing process have helped reframe my process.

There is no set way of writing or crafting a book. But how one comes to producing a full-fledged work they’re proud of is up to their own interpretation.

So what does that mean for you?

As your creative guide, I’m not tethered to one school of thought or modality. I can think outside the box. An open mind allows me to weave different elements together for a more dynamic final product. I follow agreed upon rules for quality writing but believe there are some rules that should be broken to broaden our definition and understanding of art, so it ultimately comes down to execution.

Initial consultation fee is $50, and my rate beyond is $35/hour.
